Steps To Eliminating A Vaginal Yeast Infection Naturally

Although they can be quite embarrassing, vaginal yeast infections are extremely common. Around 75 percent of women experience one at some point in their lifetime and 50 percent will have more than one. A vaginal yeast infection is caused by an overgrowth of Candida albicans, which is a fungus that lives in your body. Here are seven tips and steps to help you eliminate your infection naturally.

3. Vinegar and water
Another technique to try out is douching with a solution of 1 to 3 tablespoons of vinegar in a quart of water. You can do this once a day as soon as you begin to see the symptoms appear in the vaginal area. If you continue to see the symptoms after a week has passed, discontinue and talk to a physician.

4. Decrease foods with sugar
Few people do not enjoy sugar, but unfortunately it can play a major contributor with bringing on a yeast infection. Sugar does promote yeast growth and by decreasing or eliminating sugary foods, you can potentially get rid of the infection.
